NLNG was incorporated as a limited liability company on May 17, 1989, to harness Nigeria’s vast natural gas resources and produce Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and Natural Gas Liquids (NGLs) for export.


We operate from four offices spread across different locations. We have the liquefaction plant and the bulk of our technical personnel in Bonny Island and Port Harcourt in Rivers State Nigeria. Most of our corporate and administrative staff are based in Port Harcourt at Intels Aba Road Estate, km 16 Aba Expressway Port Harcourt and other locations in Port Harcourt and our staff who engage with the Federal government work at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja; both in Nigeria. Our fourth company location is London, UK, where our staff involved in shipping operations and commercial gas trade negotiations operate from.
The company has a wholly-owned subsidiary, Bonny Gas Transport (BGT) Limited, that provides ship chartering and operating services for NLNG. Another wholly-owned subsidiary, Nigeria LNG Ship Manning Limited (NSML) provides personnel for all of NLNG’s Shipping Vessels. Our LNG is delivered to an ever-expanding list of ports in cities around the world.
Job Description
SENIOR PROCUREMENT ANALYST
The Job
The appointee will be required to analyse and develop optimum value demand management and category strategies for all high volume bought-in direct and indirect materials (excluding feed gas) required to fulfil Company’s contractual (production & delivery), statutory, administrative and social obligations.
The right candidate should:
Possess a minimum of 7 years post-NYSC experience; out of which minimum of 4 years must have been in Contracting and Procurement role in a reputable organization.
CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR
The Job
The appointee will be required to develop and administer appropriate planning and contract administration solutions for all third party works and services in all spend categories to assure timely and proper execution activities required to fulfil Company’s contractual (production and delivery), statutory, administrative and social obligations.
The right candidate should:
Possess a minimum of 5 years post-NYSC experience; out of which minimum of 3 years must have been in a line role in a contracting and procurement organization.
PRINCIPAL BUYER
The Job
The appointee will be required to develop and implement value adding demand management and sourcing solutions for all bought-in direct and indirect materials (excluding feed gas) in business critical (>$10M) spend categories required to fulfil Company’s contractual and statutory obligations.

The right candidate should:
Possess a minimum of 12 years post-NYSC experience; out of which minimum of 8 years must have been in a contracting and procurement and minimum of 4 years in a senior position in procurement or contracts service.
MATERIALS INSPECTOR
The Job
The appointee will be required to assure inventory asset integrity for all bought-in stock direct and indirect materials (excluding feed gas) required to fulfil Company’s contractual, statutory, administrative and social obligations to its customers and other stakeholders.
The right candidate should:
Possess a HND degree (minimum of Upper Credit) in Metallurgical or Materials engineering.
Possess a minimum of 7 years post-NYSC experience with at least 4 years’ experience (in a technical quality control or assurance role) in reputable organization
INVENTORY ANALYST
The Job
The appointee will be required to deliver fit-for-purpose acquisition transactions for all bought-in direct and indirect materials (excluding feed gas) in assigned spend categories required that enable Company safely and reliably fulfil its contractual (production & delivery), statutory, administrative and social obligations.
The right candidate should:
Possess a bachelor’s degree (minimum of Second Class Upper) in Engineering. Membership of The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) UK or Nigeria, or Institute of Supply Management (ISM) US or equivalent at a diploma or certified level is an advantage.
Possess a minimum of 7 years post-NYSC experience; out of which minimum of 3 years must have been in a materials handling or control line role in a reputable organization
SENIOR VENDOR ASSESSOR
The Job
The appointee will be required to develop, coordinate and implement program for vendor evaluation, revalidation, relationship management and development for all suppliers of bought in materials, works and services (excluding feed gas) to maintain a supplier pool able to provide the inputs required by Company to fulfil its contractual (production & delivery), statutory, administrative and social obligations.
The right candidate should:
Possess a minimum of 10 years post-NYSC experience; out of which minimum of 6 years must have been in Contracting and Procurement and minimum of 3 years must have been spent at a reputable organization.
