Latest On ASUU strike :Senate Intervenes

The senate has intervened in the plans of the Academic Staff Union of Universities which was to start a nationwide strike on wednesday the 16th of November, 2016.

The lawmakers specifically asked the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, to intervene in the matter and prevent ASUU from embarking on a one-week warning strike which begins on Wednesday.The lawmakers, during the plenary on Tuesday, urged the two parties to dialogue.
