Hi-tech Robot Attacks Man In China

There are a few people that have predicted a time where robots will war against humans and might even triumph. This recent case in China will definitely give you a pause. A robot attacked and injured a man who was attending a tech fair in China. This incident causes a lot of internet users to wonder if this was the beginning of the infamous war some said will happen someday soon. The robot was on show at the 18th China International Hi-Tech Fair in Shenzhen where he suddenly smashed a glass booth and attacked a man. The man was taken away for treatment but witnesses say he was not seriously injured. People on Twitter and Chinese social media began to immediately wonder if this was a first shot in the robots vs humans war. “This robot is a pioneer in his struggle against humanity,” one user wrote and another said, “The invasion of the robots has started.” While most concluded that the robot acted of its own accord, it was soon revealed that the action was caused by a human error. According to the report, someone mixed up the robot’s  ‘forward’ and ‘back’ buttons causing the bot to crash into the booth and injure a man.
